It also has brought out some quality <a title=\"NY Times registration required\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2006\/09\/23\/books\/23chomsky.html?_r=1&#038;oref=slogin\">Chomsky bashing<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>But Alan M. Dershowitz, the lawyer and Harvard Law School professor,  said he doubted whether many of the current buyers would ever actually read the book.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know anybody who\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ever read a Chomsky book,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Mr. Dershowitz, who said he first met Mr. Chomsky in 1948 at a Hebrew-speaking Zionist camp in the Pocono Mountains where Mr. Dershowitz was a camper and Mr. Chomsky was a counselor.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153You buy them, you put them in your pockets, you put them out on your coffee table,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Mr. Dershowitz, a longtime critic of Mr. Chomsky. The people who are buying \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Hegemony\u00e2\u20ac\u009d now, he added, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I promise you they are not going to get to the end of the book.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153He does not write page turners, he writes page stoppers.
