{"id":492,"date":"2009-03-28T13:23:41","date_gmt":"2009-03-28T17:23:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dandunn.org\/blog\/?p=492"},"modified":"2009-03-28T13:29:44","modified_gmt":"2009-03-28T17:29:44","slug":"a-toy-for-all-ages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dandunn.org\/blog\/2009\/03\/a-toy-for-all-ages\/","title":{"rendered":"A Toy for All Ages"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After my grandfather died, my grandmother was ready to get rid of a lot of the &#8220;stuff&#8221; the family had accumulated in the 65 years they&#8217;d lived in the house on Abbott road. \u00c2\u00a0I would visit my grandmother and she&#8217;d tell me to &#8220;Pick something and take. \u00c2\u00a0Find something you like and take it with you. \u00c2\u00a0It&#8217;s all going to go eventually, so take something you want.&#8221; \u00c2\u00a0It made me uncomfortable.
