And if you don&#8217;t, you get stuck in Iraq.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Fox\" href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/story\/0,2933,226584,00.html\">Bush<\/a>: &#8220;<span id=\"intelliTXT\">The members of the United States military are plenty smart and they are plenty brave, and the senator from Massachusetts owes them an apology.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"intelliTXT\"><a title=\"Chicago Sun Times\" href=\"http:\/\/www.suntimes.com\/news\/politics\/118891,CST-NWS-kerry01.article\">Kerry<\/a>: It was &#8220;<\/span>a botched joke about the president and the president&#8217;s people, not about the troops.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t policy discussion.  This isn&#8217;t debate.  It only serves to remind me why I didn&#8217;t vote for either of these bozos in 2004.  Neither of them deserved it then, and they aren&#8217;t changing any minds now.<\/p>\n<p>I hold the press responsible in this as well.  We&#8217;re 6 days until mid-term elections, and the press is writing about Bush and Kerry demanding apologies from each other.  When the press gives crap like this attention, they are blowing oxygen into a brushfire.
